  Forging
We specialize in the net and near-net forging of exotic alloys such as: titanium, cobalt-chromium-molybdenum and zirconium. Through years of development, our unique forging process results in precisely crafted products that are exceptionally strong and durable. Parts emerge from the forging process at or near your exact dimensional requirements so little or no machining or finishing is required. This results in significant cost savings to our customers.

We are constantly pushing the envelope of current forging technology. Every product we produce undergoes extensive research and development designed to provide you with a precisely forged part that is higher in quality, more structurally sound and lower in cost.

We feature state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities including:

  • Robotic radial forge for forging pre-form shapes.
  • 12 Closed-die screw presses ranging from 1000 to 1650 tons.
  • Mechanical trim presses from 150 to 250 tons.
  • Hydraulic presses from 150 to 250 tons.
  • Roll mill and upsetting presses.
  • Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM) and high-speed machining centers for rapid tool and die manufacturing.
  • Prototype water jet cutting capability.
  • Complete de-burr, grinding and polishing facility.
  • Post-forge finishing processes including heat treating, chemical milling, electropolishing, shot blasting, vibratory and glass bead blasting .
  • Comprehensive laboratory and metallurgical analysis available.
  • Forging window is approximately 18” x 10” x 10”.
  • Alloys: Titanium, cobalt-chrome-moly alloy, stainless steel, zirconium, various other alloys. Titanium alloys include: Ti 64, Ti 64 ELI, Ti 6246, Ti 6242.2Si, Ti 17, T200, Ti62S.

  Engineering
Backed by years of experience and equipped with the latest digital technology, our engineering department provides innovative solutions to the most challenging design projects. We work closely with our customers at every stage of product development, from concept, to prototype to final production, and ensure that their exact design requirements are met.

The Stealth certified team of engineers has been with us since the beginning and they can create the tooling and finished prints required to bring your product into production in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. During the production cycle, our engineering, manufacturing and quality personnel work together in the effort to continuously improve our processes and guarantee that you receive the highest quality, most dimensionally exact product possible.

Our design capabilities include:

  • Unigraphics 3D CAD software.
  • AutoCAD 2D CAD software.
  • 3D CAM software for CNC programming.
  • Esprit CAD Cam software.
  • Forge simulation software.

  Machining
Stealth machining department provides complete EDM and precision CNC machining capabilities to support our net and near-net forging process.

With sinker EDM for burning dies and high-speed machining centers for hard die manufacturing, we can create the necessary tooling to get your product into production in a timely, cost-effective manner. When additional machining is required, we have 3 & 4 axis vertical machining centers equipped with automatic pallet changers for quick and efficient production.

Using the latest technology, our trained machinists work in collaboration with our engineering department to create and refine the CAM programming required to bring your product to exact dimensional specifications.

Our comprehensive machining capabilities include:

  • 3 & 4 axis, CNC vertical machining centers with automatic pallet changing and spindle-mounted probe.
  • 3 axis, high-speed CNC machining centers for hard machining of dies.
  • 2 & 3 axis CNC lathes.
  • 5 CNC sinker EDM machines with external filtration system for faster and more efficient burning.

Specialized on site technologies include:

  • Powder and wire plasma spray capabilities
  • CNC centerless grinding capabilities.
  • Thermal(friction) welding capabilities.

  Quality
At Stealth, every product we manufacture is delivered to customer specifications and the highest quality standards. To accomplish this, we ensure that these standards are maintained at every level of our organization.

The strongest example of our commitment to quality is our ISO 9001:2000 certification. We have been certified to the ISO 9001 American National Standard since 1998. This internationally recognized standard acknowledges that we have developed and implemented effective quality systems throughout the entire production process and that these systems are continually maintained and improved.

To guarantee that we meet or exceed our customers’ requirements, a material specific process is developed for each product. Inspection procedures and material tests are designed to make sure that each product is dimensionally exact and that the highest attainable mechanical properties are achieved.

Every employee at Stealth receives comprehensive training and the resources they need to perform at the highest level. Employees are encouraged to participate in process improvement teams, where workers from every stage of production work together to make sure that we continually improve our products and provide more value to our customers.

Our Quality Policy is our promise to you: “Complete customer satisfaction through responsibility, integrity and commitment to excellence in everything we do.”

Our comprehensive quality department offers:

  • Nondestructive testing including Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection performed by certified personnel.
  • Brown & Sharpe coordinate measurement machines (CMM) with PC - DMIS and Tutor for Windows software.
  • Jones & Lamson, Masterview & Genx optical comparators.
  • Metallography lab with video monitoring and capture.
