Our Story

Our story begins in 1992, when Mike Miller combined his experience in exotic alloy manufacturing with his love of automobile racing and formed Stealth Technologies. With just 5 employees, Stealth quickly established itself as a supplier of high-performance titanium racing parts to some of the top racing teams and engine parts distributors in the country.

The first racing engine components developed by Stealth in 1992 were titanium valves. Through engineering and testing development with Brodix Cylinder Heads, Stealth developed its first billet machined titanium valve. Stealth became the sole supplier of titanium valves to Brodix. As Stealth's orthopedic forging business grew and our titanium forging technology advanced it became apparent that a great improvement in the durability of the titanium valve could be achieved through the forging component parts. Stealth developed the forged head thermal welded stem design that it uses today. Many of our competitors use the thermal welded design concept, but only Stealth has perfected the forged valve head thermal welded design. This process has been proven over years of racing experience in every venue of racing.

Stealth is founded by Mike Miller.
Dave Roose, our automotive production supervisor, joins the Stealth Team.
Stealth begins the development of titanium wrist pins. Through engineering and testing Stealth develops the taper walled titanium wrist pin of today with the Anatech Casidiam DLC Coating.
Stealth receives its ISO 9000 certification establishing standardized and documented manufacturing practices that ensure we deliver products that meet our customer’s requirements.
Stealth again integrates its orthopedic forging technology into forging titanium connecting rods, main caps using aerospace grade titanium alloys.
Stealth hires Bob Ucman to run the Performance Automotive Division.
Stealth is purchased by Charter Oak Partners, LP, of Westport, Connecticut.
Stealth applies aerospace technology to its titanium retainer with the development of the GEN 3 HARD COATED RETAINER.
The 2002 race season resulted in Stealth engine components running successfully in all venues of NASCAR racing, IHRA, NHRA, World Outlaw Sprint Car and most of the sportsman classes of circle track and drag racing.
