Forged head design. Forging our valve heads imparts more strength and resistance to cracking at the critical part of the valve. We forge all of our valve heads in house to our proven forging process.
We buy only domestically supplied titanium alloys, sonically tested, heat treated and certified to proper metallurgy from centerless ground straight bar stock titanium alloys (not coil rolled) that will not bend or warp in demanding high temperature engine applications.
Our intake valves are made from Ti 6246, the toughest alloy used in valve construction today.
Our exhaust valves are made from Ti 6242Si, a proven alloy extremely durable and resistant to repeated thermal heat cycles. Forging these alloys makes a Stealth valve the toughest valve on the market. We have the testimonials to prove it.
StealthKote 2 is a high temperature nickel, chrome, moly stainless-based stem coating. This coating offers great valve stem-to-guide wear characteristics with outstanding lubricity and durability. Specially designed for high heat applications, it will not crack or flake off the stem, even under the demanding temperatures experienced by exhaust valves.
Stealth valves are available with or without tooled steel hardened tips in all stem sizes down to 5/16" diameters. Non-tipped valves available in sizes down to 4mm diameters.

Fit Notes: Lash caps are required for non-steel tipped valves. Do not use lash caps on steel tipped valves. Recommended minimum valve to guide clearance for intake valves .0008" to .001" and for exhaust valves is .0012" to .0015". Normal valve to guide clearance for intakes .0013" to .0015 and for exhaust valves .0015" to .0017". Proper honing of valve guides to eliminate taper is most important for minimum valve to guide clearances. Bead lock dimensions vary between valve manufacturers. Stealth stock valves come with bead grooves compatible with Del West Locks. Manley and other Bead lock designs are easily available on request.
